Enchantment Progression and Instance Key System Update
This update overhauls the enchantment system, changes how instance keys work, and resolves several gameplay issues.
### Enchantment Progression System
The temporary 10% enchantment bonus introduced in the previous patch has been removed and replaced with a progression system.
Each enchantment attempt increases a counter associated with that specific item, regardless of whether the attempt succeeds or fails. As the counter increases, the item’s chance of a successful enchantment gradually improves.
Key details:
- The system is especially relevant for enchantments from **+4 onward**.
- The counter does not reset after a successful enchantment.
- Progress continues accumulating as the item advances to its next enchantment level.
- Once the maximum level of **+9** is reached, the counter no longer has an effect.
For example, failed attempts to enchant an item from +4 to +5 increase its counter and improve its chances in future attempts. If the enchantment succeeds, the accumulated counter remains when attempting to advance the item from +5 to +6.
This system rewards persistence and reduces reliance on chance alone.
### Instance Key System
#### Hellhound
- A key is consumed when entering the instance.
- Entry grants a one-hour access buff.
- While the buff is active, the player can re-enter the instance without using another key.
#### Epic Temple of Renas
- Uses the same access system as Hellhound.
- The access buff lasts for two hours.
- Players can re-enter the instance without additional keys while the buff remains active.
These rules may be adjusted in the future based on player feedback and system performance.
