Monster Mash Grappling System. The monsters in Rendel won't just kindly knock you about: these colossal beasts will throw you, crush you and eat you alive! Dodge and parry to avoid their crushing blows and razor-sharp teeth.
Choose Your Weapon
Characters are customizable to fit players' preferred type of play. Select different types of weapons, skills and their associated combat styles and take on the role of one of five champions.
The Cleric
Deals damage and acts as healing support. Holy Magic skills are ranged — keep your distance from the epic monsters.
The Berserker
Deals heavy damage, but lacks speed and agility. Its skills are able to knock down opponents.
The Sorcerer
Focuses on ice and fire damage. A series of ranged attacks lets you deal high damage from a safe distance.
The Assassin
A fast, agile class wielding twin daggers. Mobility is its weapon — flank your target and strike from behind, where every backstab cuts deepest.

Weapons determine your skills in Rendel. Each weapon type unlocks a Combat Style skill tree with its own special abilities.
One-Handed Sword & Shield
Designed to block enemy attacks while maintaining stable DPS. Can deal melee damage or ranged magic damage.
DefenderSorcerer
One-Handed Hammer & Shield
Caters towards tanking monsters rather than heavy damage. Healing spells and stunning skills can be used with this set.
DefenderCleric
One-Handed Daggers
Twin fast-striking blades with short reach. Built for mobility and positioning — slip behind enemies to land devastating backstab damage.
Assassin
Two-Handed Sword
Deals high-burst damage. Because of its weight, the two-handed sword has a very low attack speed.
Berserker
Two-Handed Hammer
A heavy damage-dealing weapon with very low attack speed. Can deal physical damage, but also holy magic damage and heal.

Staff
Used for dealing magic damage and for support healing. The staff works best as a ranged weapon.
